Char has done it again. I want Pete to head out to the hardware store (ours is called B&Q....looks just like Home Depot....isn't it orange in the US???)...but he won't..admittedly it is raining and horrible. Don't blame him really. Well done Char...it is great!!!!
I have drawn and sewn this stitchery and you are welcome to use the drawing if you like. If you do this stitchery would you please send me a picture of it? I would love to see it done differently.
I have stitched it using one strand of DMC thread. When I finished it, I gave it a bath in a little weak tea. I then microwaved it in 30 second intervals until it dried. I then put a few splodges of a coffee stain in different parts of it to age it more. If you have any questions..just email me and I will happily answer your questions.
This is a great idea. There is a link to the labels but the one that links to it is sold out. There are primitive labels you can buy as a download..just google or contact me. Thanks again to Papier Valise.
This is true genious!!!!!! I would also add a label saying what it is for. I am amazed at how something so simple could be mindblowing brilliant...I need to keep my toilet rolls now!!!! Found this on Apartment Therapy.
INGENIOUS!!!!!!! I need to make a heap of them!!!! I know the feeling of looking at the luggage and wondering if it is mine. I started to attach a piece of fabric around the handle...but that is so much nicer. Thanks you Little Birdie Secrets...and thank you to Mr Little Birdie Secrets!!!!!
This is cute...and like Skip to my Lou said...you can use all different papers for different seasons. I have seen them made by Tracey Jeannie on a delphiforums Primitive and Rustic and they were pretty shoes...I can't remember the occasion.
I am a 42 year old stay at home wife and mother. My boys are 13 and 11 and are becoming 'mature'...so my 13 year old says. My life revolves around my family, photography and friends. We are all Australians and this is our second time living in Scotland.
